My personal vision for Belly Sprout began with the pregnancy of my first son, Mayu. I knew that I wanted to cloth diaper, baby-wear and use natural products for him from bath care, supplements to natural toys. The only problem was I couldn't find a local retailer which carried the products I needed. I spent my limited free time searching the web and sometimes making erroneous purchases. I really wanted to touch, feel and see what I would be buying!

Belly Sprout was born with the passion of bringing such products to mothers who were also searching for the same for themselves and their children. I have a high criteria before I purchase anything for the store and have personally used nearly everything in the store for my family. Quality, performance, clean and natural are things I will not compromise. When you visit our shop you will not only leave with beautiful products, you will have the information and education to properly use and care for your purchase.

MORE THAN A STORE

From pregnancy to veteran mothers, we strive to help you feel connected, empowered and joyful. Please visit our family-friendly shop, let your children safely play while you shop and most importantly let us guide and nurture you through parenthood. You will discover that we are more than a store. There is a growing community here.

Bloom OC represents this vision... to bring together other mothers and community members who feel as passionate as we do about children, friendship and the future. The store is simple another venue for us and hopefully the community we serve to grow.

In this spirit, we took on the responsibility to create a new space.  Bloom OC is a non-profit that is supported by our store. The old Birth Connection had provided the initial meeting ground, but it closed its doors. We were determined to keep a space open that served as a community center, and so a group of supporters came together to keep the vision alive. It has not been easy, but it is the future of our children we are talking about.
